Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Our commitment

Vesio is a utility app for receiving Sentry Mode push alerts from your Tesla. We want it to be usable by as many people as practical, including users who rely on assistive technologies.

This page describes our accessibility goals, what we support today, known limitations, and how to request help. It is not legal advice and does not certify compliance with any specific law or standard.

Standards we work toward

For the Vesio iPhone app, we follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and aim to support VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, and system settings such as Reduce Motion and Increase Contrast where SwiftUI allows.

For this marketing website, we aim for practical conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA for core pages (home, privacy, terms, and this page): semantic structure, keyboard focus, sufficient contrast in our design tokens, touch targets of at least 44px on mobile, and a skip link to main content.

App — supported today

  • VoiceOver labels on welcome setup checklist items, alert history rows, and primary Settings actions
  • Dynamic Type via system text styles in the app UI
  • Light, dark, and system appearance; optional accent palettes that preserve contrast on primary controls
  • Push notifications with text that includes Sentry state and time (readable in Notification Center and VoiceOver)
  • Footage review happens on the Tesla center screen, which has its own accessibility controls

App — known limitations

  • We have not completed a full third-party accessibility audit
  • Some secondary controls or status glyphs may have incomplete VoiceOver hints
  • Alerts depend on car connectivity and server delivery; users without push permission will not receive remote notifications
  • Tesla OAuth and virtual key pairing open the system browser; accessibility of Tesla's flows is controlled by Tesla
  • The app is English-only at launch

Website — supported today

  • Page language set to English (lang="en")
  • Skip link to main content
  • Landmark regions (header, main, footer) and labeled navigation
  • Focus-visible styles on interactive controls
  • Responsive layout with safe-area insets on notched devices
  • Accent color preference stored in browser localStorage only (not used for tracking)

Website — known limitations

  • Marketing device mockups are decorative (`aria-hidden`) and do not convey live app state
  • We have not published a formal VPAT or third-party WCAG audit report
  • Optional localized legal summaries may be added later; primary legal text is English

Feedback and remediation

If you have trouble using Vesio or this site with assistive technology, please tell us what you were trying to do, your device and iOS version (for the app), browser (for the site), and the assistive technology you use.

We will try to address reported barriers in reasonable future updates. We cannot guarantee a specific fix timeline.
